We have created a progress indicator and when we show the progress indicator we set the opacity filter of the div.
oDiv.style.filter = 'Alpha(Opacity=30)'

This is causing the increase in memory usage. Is there an alernative to the above approach?
One alternative is to use Alphimageloader filter to load a transparent image. The issue is that one can perform operations like mouse click on the document.

Any Ideas? What does DOJO use in thier load indicator?

Thanks
