Can We do two types validations on same?

I did client side validation through validation framework( validation.xml), as per our requirement I need to do the server side validations. i.e. I need search that particular word from database. I did it separately in validate method of Form.

When I combine these validations, I can not get the client side validations. the application is doing only server side validation.

Is that possible to do both ? any other alternate way is there?

Thanks,
Kumar

I got it,

We can't do two types of validatios on FormBean, we can, but the framework will search for validate() method in FormBean, then if validate() isn't in FormBean then it will go for validation.xml.
