Great to see a new entry in struts.
Will this book be helpful for beginners?Does the book cover up the difference between struts 1.x and struts 2?

Yes, the book is good for Struts 2 beginners, and beginning web applications in general. It does, however, cover many advanced topics in Struts 2, JavaScript, testing, and so on.

It should be accessible to anyone with a decent Java background, however.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
