Question about Dave Newton's new book

Concerning Mr. Newton's new book "Apache Struts 2 Web Application Development".... I am a newbie when it comes to Struts and would like to get the necessary experience using it. My question is simply this: Does this book have everything a newbie will need to get himself started, from soup to nuts? For example, does this book include all of the exact URL destinations I need to download all of the required software from Sun, Apache, etc etc, or do I have to go somewhere else to find out where to go to download the necessary software?

Thank you much for your time.

It has all the info needed to get started with Struts 2, but not all the information needed to get started in Java web application development.

There are, however, about a million tutorials/etc. on the net that cover the absolute basics
