I am trying to understand how we can integrate Struts 2 and Spring ACEGI security framework. Does anyone know of a good book that covers this topic ?

I am specifically interested in how would you wire your action classes and acegi configs together.

S2 and Acegi integration is really no different than the standard Acegi integration--are you having specific issues?

I am new to ACEGI and struts, both. I am looking for a simple example that uses struts and ACEGI together. How does your web.xml should look ?

Can we have both struts2 and spring filter definitions with same url-patterns ? see below:

<filter>
<filter-name>struts2</filter-name>
<filter-class>org.apache.struts2.dispatcher.FilterDispatcher</filter-class>
</filter>

<filter-mapping>
<filter-name>struts2</filter-name>
<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
</filter-mapping>

<filter>
<filter-name>Acegi Filter Chain Proxy</filter-name>
<filter-class>org.acegisecurity.util.FilterToBeanProxy</filter-class>
<init-param>
<param-name>targetClass</param-name>
<param-value>org.acegisecurity.util.FilterChainProxy</param-value>
</init-param>
</filter>

<filter-mapping>
<filter-name>Acegi Filter Chain Proxy</filter-name>
<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
</filter-mapping>

Thanks,
Rama

Spring is discussed primarily in regards to testing and testability; Acegi is not covered--that's a topic for a Spring book.
