Hi,
I know that there is APACHE POI (HWPF) for reading from and writing to Microsoft Word Document but its download from the POI website is failing. I tried this a lot of times but without success.
Has somebody got the HWPF jar ? If yes, then please mail it to me at sivapraveen.chandana@tcs.com

Thanks in advance..

Also would like to know if you have used any other way in Java (other than HWPF) to write to a Word Document ?

Thanks....

Have you tried downloading from one of the mirrors? You should be able to download it quite easily...

If you run OpenOffice in server mode you can use UNO -its Java API- to make it do just about anything you can do with it manually. It's got a HUGE learning curve, though.

Hi Martijn,
I tried to download the src and bin zip files from different mirrors. The bin file got downloaded but the src file isn't getting downloaded.

Thanks..

Hmm, the src is fairly large 25-33MB so I can't email it for you. Which country are you located in?
