Hi, I have to plugin Chat Software in my j2ee application(website). Following are my requirements: 1) This chat software should be in j2ee technology. 2) S/W should be plugable in website and any end user who access website ,wants to chat with support people they can chat by clicking on link. 3) S/W should be buyable(Client can buy) for long term. Pawan, Welcome to JavaRanch! The very first hit for "chat software" on Google is a Java one. There are a few others beneath it. Which of these have you looked at so far?

Hi Jeanne, Thankyou for your response. I have checked site- http://www.addonchat.But i am not able to find any link from where i can download free trial version, later i can go for lisense.Can you provide some more details? Let me tell in details my requirements- 1)I want chat s/w which i can buy once and i can use for life time. 2)This s/w should be in j2ee technology, because i am going to use this s/w with website which is in J2EE(Struts) technology. 3)This s/w should be instalable on Windows, AIX , Linux operating systems. 4)This s/w should support Web Sphere application server. Please provide me help if you have any idea about chat software with above mentioned features? Thanks & Regards, Pawan

You have to register in order to download. This product appears to have a yearly fee. As for your other questions, I believe addonchat.com hosts the server and you just put a link to their server on your page. If you have other questions, you can use their support center to get the info right from the source.
