log4j with filters using properties

Hi everyone

I have a large application that uses log4j. For legacy reasons I must configure log4j with a properties file, not xml. I have seen many examples of setting up the SMTP Appender with multiple filters in xml, but none with a properties.

When I tried to guess at how it would be set up in a properties file I received errors.

Does anyone have any examples of setting up an appender with multiple filters using a properties file?

Thanks

Al
