This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I have a requirement to control a scheduler in my application from outside. I am using tomcat 6 and java 5. I want to do this by using JMX and I am not getting how to start jmx connector in tomcat and other set up which I don't know.
Can somebody help me how to deploy a custom MBean into Tomcat 6. By doing this I should be able to start/stop my MBean whenever I want.
You help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Chinna
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
