Drools: How to persistent rule engine so that it can be resumed later?

I am using Drools 4.0.7 as a rule engine.
My query is how do I sync my rule engine with database so that if in case drools engine system crashed, I'd be able to recover it later.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
