We proudly announce our very first event and we'd like you to be part of it!

The event will take place the 7th of November from 17.00 till 20.00. Two speakers have already confirmed: Kris Verlaenen from the JBoss Drools project and Nicolas Lerouxof Lunatech Research. We're also working on getting a third speaker about JBoss AS 5. More information on this if we get confirmation from JBoss. After the talks, there is time for discussions and networking accompanied by free drinks and food.

Kris Verlaenen is the lead developer of the Drools Flow project. He will show us what the JBoss rules engine is all about and deliver us insight into new and exciting features. Besides a tour through Drools, Kris will give us an in-depth view on Drools Flow.

Nicolas Leroux is a software developer at Lunatech Research, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He has many years of experience building Java EE applications for corporate and government IT projects using open-source libraries and agile methods, and recently organised a Benelux JBoss User Group event. His presentation aims to show you the latest development methods using Java EE, the JBoss Seam framework, Hibernate Validation, Hibernate Search, JAXB, RESTful web services, etc.

Update: Tom Baeyens, the founder and technical lead of JBoss jBPM has confirmed that he will attend the event! This means that the best of the best regarding JBoss workflow will be with us on the event. If you only show the slightest interest in workflow ... there is no excuse now not to come!

Update: Alexey Loubyansky, core developer on the JBoss AS 5 project, confirmed he'll be attending! He'll be flying over from Ukraine to introduce us into the new features of the upcoming JBoss AS 5 release. Fantastic news!

The event will take place in the HQ of RealDolmen (Vaucampslaan 42, Huizingen).

Don't forget to register on the event page (http://www.jbug.be), since seats are limited.

See you there!
