I just want to know am i black listed on this javaranch?
Two days back i posted a question on javaranch and sun forums. At that time i was unaware of the crossposting policy and one of the javaranch moderator found this and on both the forums he/she replied as cross poster and thats it i am not getting any replies neither there nor here.
I did agree that mistake happened but i did not getting any reply.
It was totally unintentional posting on both the forums.
I really love javaranch.I completed two certifications on SCJP,SCWCD with out javaranch i would not have been able to clear them and more importantly my interest towards java would have been very low.
There's no blacklist here. Sometimes we close people's accounts, but that's only for really bad behaviour. And if that happened, you would know about it. Your account (obviously) hasn't been closed, because cross-posting like that isn't really bad behaviour. Not even close to really bad.
And just to clarify things, that wasn't a bartender that first pointed out the cross-posting, just another member. It was Maneesh Godbole, one of our bartenders, who posted a link to our actual policy about cross-posting.
So, not to worry. You aren't in our bad books. If you aren't getting an answer it's more likely that nobody knows the answer. At least that's the feeling I get when I read the thread.

Nah! There is no black list...but you are giving us ideas hehehe. Just kidding. I tried out the code you had posted and was unable to compile. Unfortunately things are too hectic in my office right now and I couldn't find more time to look into it. I see Ulf is taking a look at that post. So you are in safe hands!
