as much as I know, they havent released it for development. but features are good and writing a code is also simpler. As Java had started revolution in platform independent code....JavaFx may start another revolution mainly in UI side....in which you can write once and run on any device....which will save development time n cost.

But they have competitor too....like flex.

Since you're asking this in the Jobs Discussion forum, I guess what you're really asking is "How is the future of JavaFX jobs?" I think it will be pretty much non-existent. See here for some opinions.
