Dear All,
With respect to financial domain, I'm a novice.
I'm from India.
I'm searching for a basic book on Accounting, which is very simple & interesting like HeadFirstJava.
If somebody knows about some book please refer the same.
Regards.
Note: Does HeadFirst publishers have any idea of "HeadFirstAccounting"

I guess you could try a 'for dummies' book. But if you are looking to move into the finance domain as a j2ee guy I don't think knowledge of accounting helps? I think I would brush up on advanced math, Swing, good with multithreading, flex, Applets etc. I have also heard people recommend certifications like CFA or doing an MBA to improve prospects.

I'm not planning to move into finance domain as a J2EE guy.
I just want to get financial intelligence, as in future I would be an entrepreneur.
Anyhow Thanks & any other valid books.
Regards.
