can we do it with RMI and JNI?

i have been assigned a project. which includes controlling operations of other computers in Lan (controlle includes-- usb, drive, registry, restart/shutdown, kill process, run our .exe, resource access, etc) is it feasible with RMI and JNI.

yes.
You might find that RMI and Runtime.exec() is simpler.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
