i have been assigned a project. which includes controlling operations of other computers in Lan (controlle includes-- usb, drive, registry, restart/shutdown, kill process, run our .exe, resource access, etc) is it feasible with RMI and JNI.

yes. You might find that RMI and Runtime.exec() is simpler.
