This sounds like a familiar question; you can use the "Search" at the top of the page to find the previous discussions.

First thing you need to find out is where your Outlook gets your emails from. Is it an Exchange server? Does it uses IMAP, or POP3?

It is an exchange server. I am not sure of the protocol that the server is using, but in code, I am using IMAP. is there any way to find out what protocol the server is using?

When I try to connect to it, I get the exception ,
