I am looking for some new music to load on my iPod. I have out grown all of my old CDs and I am looking for some new music. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

What is your favorite Genre? I love U2 and Coldplay.

If your more into "softer music" take a look at James Blunt, and some of Damien Rice's music (Blowers Daughter, Aimee, Cannonball) or John Legend (Ordinary People)

Try some Queens of the Stone Age, Bright Eyes, Arcade Fire, My Morning Jacket, maybe some Medeski, Martin and Wood if you like your jazz funked up.
* Guns N Roses * Metallica (also try the one with SnM - the symphony grp...am still searching for the CD in stores for the SnM version) * Aerosmith * Def Leppard * Deep Purple * Linkin Park * DreamTheater * Bon Jovi [ November 30, 2005: Message edited by: Ganpi Srinivasan ]
Joy Divison, Motorhead, AC/DC, Judias Priest, Floyd, Cult, Clash, Pouges, Black Sabbath, Elvis Costello, Bowie...
----------------- Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and... Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten? Nigel Tufnel: Exactly. Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder? Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where? Marty DiBergi: I don't know. Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do? Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven. Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder. Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder? Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven. - Spinal Tap...

If you like Bruce Springsten, then you should try "Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes" or Lyle Lovett. I like a lot of the harder stuff mentioned before and have been playing in some metal bands, but the two guys I mentioned above are really awesome.
Though I really do not know much about Genre` and stuff, my favorites include The Corrs, Backstreet Boys, Eagles, MLTR... though haven't heard any new number from these..
