Hi,

I'm using Mastering EJB 3.0 available free on www.theserverside.com, I find it covers the objectives of the exam in many areas.

I also plan to read the Simplified specs of EJB 3.0.
Good Luck

I am reading O'Reilly's EJB 3.0. Not sure which one fits more to the exam objectives...

Hello Ranchers,
can any body please tell me, how much is the similarity in contents in ejb 2.0 and ejb 3.0, I just used ejb 3.0 in my project (initial level, i.e stateless session beans with annotation and I DONT have any any idea of ejb 2.1 )

so If anybody can please tell us the similarity between the two(with respect for contents and technology) so I can pickup the study material of EJB 2.1 and read some stuff from there that is similar and utilize the existing material for my prepration..

Can any body please list down the Exam OBJECTIVES that is similar in ejb 2.1 and ejb 3.0 ???

Kindly Reply

Regards,
Amit

I was expecting this comparison from you since you had done deep research and found there is 50 percent difference between 3.0 and 2.0(it is 2.0 and not 2.1 as for as the exam is concerned-we do not have a exam based on 2.1).well something of that sort you mentioned in a previous thread.Right !!!

Hi!

Added to "Mastering Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0" (that I'm reading) and "Oreily book" (that I want to read), I found this nice page about the annotations in JPA:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/jpa/resources/toplink-jpa-annotations.html

I'd say write some beans, use some annotations, hook in some pojos, do some queries, read the specs.

and I do not need his phone number.

Let the moderator and others decide who is wasting the time.

If it was of any inconvenience to you or anyone, sorry for the same,it was unintentional.(even though the suggestion was a sincere one).

What would you suggest to someone who is constantly waiting and asking for someones notes.I did it so he can prepare and move ahead. There is no guarantee others notes will get prepared in time or even get prepared fully.
At the end it will affect his exam only and not mine.

no offence with rajan, and i have not minded his suggesion,
as i am quite busy, so just asked that is there some existing material can be utilized in existing resources for scbcd 5, as i don't have idea about ejb 2.0 and its ok rajan, i have never minded your advice of making notes
infact its good practise..

lets close this topic, and concentrate on ejb

amit
