My zoo at home, how about yours?

Well I thought I would show you pics of my new flight bird cage that I bought. It is big, over 5 feet tall. I just bought this to replace 3 smaller cages I had for my flock.

To finish the rest of my zoo. In the pics you see 5 parakeets and a cockatiel. I also have a turtle, a frog, and 2 large fish tanks set up with a large number of fish.

I had 7 parakeets up until a few months ago when two of them developed tumors and passed away. The two that died were the parents of Digger, Yohoo, and Dot who we raised since they cracked their way out of the eggs. If you never saw the baby pics: http://www.shona.8k.com/babykeetpage.htm .I still need to move them to my own domain so I can get rid of the popup ads.

So who here also has a bunch of pets?

Two dogs -- not much of a zoo.

How can you call that a zoo? You don't even have kids yet
My wife is sadly anti-pets so we don't have any, but there will be some for the knee-highs in the near future.

2 Chihuahuas, 1 Maine Coon, 4 fish.

Kids are a few years off, still for me. Right now sticking to the feather kind.

Mmmm, too bad. That is, it's great he has two dogs, but I thought maybe you were doing a riff on Bob & Doug McKenzie. Not a very good one, admittedly, but I was trying to be supportive.

Sheldon and a cat, a dog, a son, a daughter, a granddaughter and a stray soldier. We think we'll keep him.

A good question is never answered. It is not a bolt to be tightened into place but a seed to be planted and to bear more seed toward the hope of greening the landscape of the idea. John Ciardi
