The extended persistence context obtained from the applica-
tion-managed entity manager is a stand-alone persistence context�it is not propagated with the transac-
tion.


Above line is from ejb persitence context specification, page 125,

if it is not propagated across a transaction, then how possible it is called extended persistence context.
