Anyone have any idea what is the @(#) means?

Also does anyone knows how to do the escape character for # in Eclipse JAutodoc plugin?

Never heard of it, sorry.

That sounds too complicated for the beginners' forum; I shall move you. I'll try the IDEs forum first, where you should get help about the Eclipse problem.

I think that this is part of Sun's internal source management process actually, and doesn't have any special meaning to anyone not using their in-house tools and procedures.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.

I agree. Here's the link: http://zeroturnaround.com/jrebel - it saves me about five hours per week
