How can I observe the initializing process for a filter? I build on netbeans 6.5,
6. I inserted some breakpoint in the init method, but the app didn't stop there.
can somebody provide any materials for me? Many thanks.

Either you didn't run in debug modus, or the filter is simply not invoked at all.
