Hi All,
Thanks a lot in advance.
In our J2EE application we are generating one PDF file. When we click on the link to open/save PDF it is opening one popup window what fire fox should with text/pdf. When I say "save" it is opening windows save box but File name is showing but not its extenssion same is working fine in IE.
What settings should i do to get the extenssion lilke "file1.pdf".

Please help me.

Regards,
Sree

How is this problem related to HTML or JavaScript?

At any way, you should specify the file name in the content disposition header.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I am giving the file name and it is working fine but problem is with the extenssion.
In windows we have option under folder options>view>Hide file extenssion... chec box option.
If we un check we will get file extenssion while saving any file but only in IE not mozilla fire fox.
If I want to get that extenssion Do I need any special settiings or am I doing any thing wrong?

Please help me.

Reagards,
Sree
