Hi,

In Struts, when I use LookUpDispatch action, I need to bypass Validation frame work for certain functions i.e. I need validation to be performed on ADD/UPDATE function, but when user selects View, Validations needs to bypassed.

These function reside on the same UI.

Kindly advice me on the processes to achive this.

Thanks in Advance.

In the validate() method on the form, you can validate the request parameter to determine if the validate() method should continue to execute or return an empty ActionErrors.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
