Hmmm.. You're right about a hero being born on that day, but you're about 8 years too late. I was born on that day in 1976.

A hero of no good.....as till 8 years after that, there was no change in fortune for poor people of world... thats evident as why otherwise, god wud have sent a popular figure (particularly in divas) of heaven to earth on June 20th 1984... Do you know there was a heaven-wide strike for 1 month after that?? ...

Apart from being a Sheriff, (please also look at my member number), I am 55 years old. And here you can read a chronology of how this site benefited me in my re-incarnation as a Java Developer...

Just a few months ago, a kid, at the age of 11, claimed to be the youngest SCJPer on the JavaRanch Sun Certification Result forum. Anyone younger than that here?
Don't despair if you've already passed that age. If you've got kids/babies at home, just register for them to compete for the crown of the youngest JRer here.

As James Gosling mentions in his blog, his seven year-old daughter is programming in Java, so she may well me able to attain a SCJP before the age of 11, but I hope she's smart enough to realize that certifications like that are a waste of time -- better that she set up her own consulting agency!
There is no emoticon for what I am feeling!

Er, just to clarify my earlier post.

When I asked "Anyone younger than that here?", I was referring to JavaRancher (JRer), regardless of being SCJP certified or not, younger than age 11.
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
