Dear All,
I'm using Tomcat-5.5.27 version.
When I'm trying to run my application by specifying my application name & context it's working.
But when I try to see the list of applications through my manager by giving proper passwords tomcat & tomcat, it shows 403- forbidden error, but my application is running.

Even when I create a new user in my tomat-users.xml & then try to login into the application, the error persists.
This is my error:

My tomcat-users.xml:

I need access to tomcat manager because I'm trying to automate deployment of my applications in tomcat-server for which I need to go through TomcatManager.
Any help is appreciated.
Regards.

The challenge is won , by including an role of manager for an user here "sai" user has been included the role of manager
Modify the role of sai in tomcat-user.xml :

Now re-start the server & it will work.
But I'll now have to resolve another challenge.
When I view the list of applications running:
I come across two paths pointing to my same application JDBCServlet

in conf\server.xml, I've set the contextpath of the application as:

Also my web.xml is:

But when I try to connect to my application , through any of those paths it displays 404 not available error;
The error trace is :

But when I run the application through this path:

It works perfectly.
How my application can be run through the manager list of applications i.e through context path.
Regards.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
