Could anybody help me about class loaders in JBoss and Tomcat. I was asked the question during a job interview.

I don't know much about Tomcat classloading architecture. But for JBoss, you can find all the information here

JBoss has a configurable class loader which decides how a particular class is loaded.
 
Consider Paul's rocket mass heater.
