And, i think hat drawing will be better rather then pasting image of hat on moose.

It looks very odd (Picture pasted on Drawing)

I think the moose should be changed itself . It looks very odd. Anyways it has been here for more time than I have so I cannot challenge it. I am a pro at Photoshop. I will definitely submit images of upcoming events...

I think it should be shown in full with sheriff's clothes. No stuffing on the wall. No killings.

Thanks Ulf,
I really liked the link.
I though, we have list of events (somewhere on the website), on which we modify moose. But we have a better approach.

I really like the way it is, please no more changes, I still can't get over the button changes that were made earlier. The hat looks pretty nice, the 3dness provides a nice contrast with the one dimensional image of Rudolph the mousse. If anything I would vote for his eyeball to be restored to him.

Modifying the logo is fairly new. We always did it for April Fools Day. This year for Halloween, we changed the logo. And Thanksgiving would be the second time we did it.

Making most holidays open for images. (Preferably actual images as you are offering rather than suggestions of things we could make.)

Are you talking about The Moose? If so, my understanding is "The" stands for "Theodore".

Theodore? As in Theodore Roosevelt who is credited as the origin of the term "Teddy Bear?"

I have created two logos for Christmas. I created them a lot better but they got ruined because .gif files support only 256 colors.

Please give me your comments on them!

I like them.

For a time-limited logo like that I'm certain we could forgo the animation, and thus use a JPEG or PNG instead of a GIF.

I like them too!

And our Halloween Moose didn't have the animation so there is clear precedent for that!

Well, for Christmas, in a minion's opinion, JavaRanch would use a starry red background and save the sober white for a not-so-sober New Year's Day!
