Has anyone else had problems with indenting in emails? I always send out my html stuff with indentation, but it never reaches Marilyn that way. I always use plain text for my emails because of the variety of people out there, so I don't know if this may be the issue. If anyone can give a tip or two on this, I'd greatly appreciate it, I've been seeing "indenting" on my nitpicks way too often Jason

Do you use tabs or spaces for indentations in your submissions? If you use tabs, there's no guarantee how another application (Marilyn's email) will read it. If you use spaces, you know how it will look.

If you happen to use TextPad to code then it gives you the option to change your tabs to spaces every time you save.

And/or also on the fly. (TextPad, that is.)

Silly me. I use notepad, but use tabs. I use NetBeans for writing code, and it does the automatic conversion of tabs to spaces, so I was so used to that I didn't even think about it in notepad. Thanks! Creature of habit, Jason

Life rule #(make up a number): Use spaces in plain text. Use tabs when word-processing.

Addendum: The correct number of spaces is 4 (or multiples of 4).
