It just occured to me that I pay more for my daily coffee than I do for my satellite service.

Here is the math:

Coffee: Two small cups of Starbucks a day is 1.57 * 2 = $3.14/day

Satellite: My TV gets signals from the 19 Dish Network satellites in the god damned outer space. I get 180 channels, plus 19 high def channels, plus HBO, plus digital video recorder, plus two dishes on my roof. That's $72 month / 30.5 days = $2.36/day.

Here is the question: is that cofee that's overpriced or the satellite service that's underpriced?

We generally use coffee to turn our head on, while we use TV to turn it off. There's really no way to compare those in monetary terms
