All,

JavaRanch URL changed from javaranch.com to coderanch.com

What it mean?

Did this forum(s) no more specific to Java and related technologies :?: or Code means only java :?:

By the way Good migration work with jforum framework.

I liked the new forum too. The buttons look like as they are made of chocolate.

I noted the URL change to. Maybe this is to avoid conflicts with the old URLs that are still around and/or to keep the forum in a different server than the rest of the site?

Thanks! (I was the one who choc-lified the buttons.)

Actually (as was mentioned elsewhere) it's to reflect the fact that other languages such as Groovy, Scala, JavaScript and so on are important subjects on the Ranch.

Hi Victor,
I recall you had some questions about the new software that we stubbornly refused to answer last week . Feel free to re-ask any that still apply. This time you'll get an actual answer.

Well, about the quotes and the icons, the forum answers this by itself.

About the JForum version in use and the possibility to update to JForum 3 and/or feedback JForum, you already answered that here.

Thanks.
