Servlet Exception

Hi Friends, I am getting exception in this line

DesCrypter dcrp= new DesCrypter("");

why i am not getting , will you please explain why is it so, and which jar file we need to use for this....

Where is DesCrypter supposed to come from? What does its documentation tell you? What exception are you getting (details)?

When you get an exception from a servlet the first rule is DONT PANIC!

How is this related to servlets? Having this line of code in a servlet doesn´t make it a servlet problem, unless you got it to run as a Java application under the same circumstances.
