I am looking for a couple of java books.

I have about 5+ years of programming experience. I started off with Java (some gui stuff and beans) and j2ee (jsp, servlets) etc for about 1 year.
then switched to c++ and c#. That is what i have been doing for past 3 years. Now i want to switch back to Java.

Given this background :
1. Could you recommend a book that is "practical" - one that will teach the new features in java 5 and 6 quickly ? No " .. for dummies" or " .. in 21 days" please

2. And another that is more in-depth - one that explains the concepts and deals with advanced topics ? Not a reference though. I hate when a programming book starts with list of built types in a languages.

Thanks.
