Hi,

I would like to implement a screen recording feature in our application. I tried createScreenCapture(selected an 1024x768 region) but unfortunatelly it produced only 10 FPS with 100% CPU load. And it was only capturing raw data without compression. Please can anybody provide me some better alternative?

You could take a look at JxCapture.

Thanks for your reply. I checked it, but I think they use also java.awt.Robot, and I didn't find anything about video capture ability, or high frame rate capture ability. And unfortunatelly it isn't free. Any other advice?
