I have JSF based application running in WAS 5.1 which using form based authentication. When we deploying same WAR in WAS 6.0 login is failed with 'Response already committed.' error message from Filter class.

We have dispatch.forward() after chain.doFilter() call. In WAS 6.0 doFilter() method commit the response, so the forward() call on dispatcher causing 'Invalid State Exception'.
I don’t see similar commit behavior in Filter chain in WAS 5.0.
