Hi mates,
I'm developing an web-application in struts. It has a class that servers as Oracle Package caller and it is sort of common utility class; Th e problem is " can I use only one instance of connection for multiple Packages Calls ( all packages are called through only one connection) or Can I use one instance of connection for each package call ( every package call has its own connection ) ". it need clarification.

Thanks in advance.

cheers,
Makesh.

What is the highest number of concurrent users that will be using the application at any point in time? Will the Web component be deployed on the same machine hosting the Oracle RDBMS?

Hi dude,
basically its going to have 400 to 900 hits (by users) per day. DBMS will not be located in the same machine but in a different one (may be in a cluster).

Thanks for replay dude.

Describe what a "hit" means.
