Have any of you seen this movie yet? I just saw it this afternoon and really enjoyed it. There are some great action packed sequences, decent special effects, and Kate Beckensale(sp?) is HOT in that black leather outfit. On the downside, the plot is a bit difficult to follow at first and there are some plot holes, but I won't get into that since I don't want to spoil it for the rest of you. Maybe it would help to watch the original movie first. Overall it was a good movie and worth the time and money to see on the big screen. I'd sure like to hear feedback from others that have seen it.

I thought the plot was shakey at best. Action stuff sure is decent but inorder for a movie to be something other than just another action film it needs a solid plot. Underworld 2 has a nice story behind it I thought but so much is learned only in memory glimpses that the facts are difficult to grasp.

FYI: If you want a piece of this film, props and costumes are currently being auctioned on eBay (including Kate Beckinsale's aforementioned latex costume).

We saw it Friday night -- it was pretty good. The memory flashbacks were an interesting way to tell the story. And yes, Kate Beckinsale is gorgeous; Scott Speedman is cute too..... quite the interesting scene in the back of that big cargo truck in the garage, huh?

Special effects were good; lots of blood (as expected from a vampire / werewolf flick). I saw the lady who walked into the theatre in front of us bring along her 6 or 7 year old kid. What kind of parent brings their kid to something THAT dark and bloody. Poor kid is gonna grow up with issues.

It's amazing they didn't tip over any gasoline cans or other volatile containers, ain't it?

The people in front of me had two kids with them, too. I thought the same thing. It doesn't seem like a movie that is appropriate for kids that age. Of course, maybe it's just my conservative upbringing coming out again.

Wow, that's super young , i remember i was still playing with dinosaurs at that age, and football and outdoor stuff, running like crazy. Kids should really be encouraged to be outside some more, and do sport, they don t know what they re missing.

yeah, but ALL kids grow up with issues!!! and therapy is expensive, so you might as well give the kid something to talk about while he's there...
