I have made a jar file containing a package of my application. My application is a small game which involves JFrame.
I want to make the jar file such that as soon as a lay man clicks on the jar file the main function of my class automatically executes.

That's what the Main-Class entry in the jar file manifest does: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/deployment/jar/manifestindex.html
