Is there a way to verify online if someone one has actually cleared a Sun certification?

is there? Its pretty easy to just make a fake certificate isn't it? unless there is a way to view a transcript online how can one ensure that its genuine?

This question has been asked a lot of times. There is a online database of sun where you can check for authentic certificate by entering user credentials. Just search in the forum for the link.

Also you have above 800 messages still your title is greenhorn

not so attached to ranch titles on new site.

OK so there is no way to have it published publicly correct? One would have to have it(the report) sent to individual email Ids.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
