I am currently doing my work in EJBs.
I would like to do ejb certification i.e SCBCD.
Please suggest me whether this would add value to my resume i.e whats the market perception about SCBCD.
and do tell whether I should go for ejb2.0 certification or ejb3.0 certification
Also tell me if going for SCWCD would be better.
Thanks in advance
One thing permanent in this world is change
I personally feel the knowledge we get from scwcd is required for java/j2ee web application developer and it gives you great value also. But, SCBCD is a kind of specialization. In market every java project does not use ejbs, at the same time many of them need the knowledge that we get from SCWCD. I would suggest SCWCD to have solid foundation in case you are below everage in servlet/jsp technologies then go for SCBCD. If you take SCBCD take ejb3.0 (ejb2.1 certification is anyway not available).
I saw some companies are asking for ejb as required skills.
I am also observing same, lot of opportunities for ejb, spring, hibernate etc . But having having knowledge of SCWCD is enough(no need to go for certification) if your ultimate aim is to do SCEA after doing SCBCD ... or you can have SCWCD(do certification) and knowledge of SCBCD . I think either one will add good value to resume , if you are able to do both then go for it
Also who knows for SCEA assignment you may require solid knowledge of servlets/jsp
I feel SCEA should test one on the complete J2EE stack (which includes the Web tier components, and the business tier components). So if you say you are an SCEA, then I'd assume that you are knowledgable in both of the tier components.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
