Hi!

I am not a programmer, but have some cursorary knowledge of Java that I learned putzing around at home. I am not too interested in the front-end and would like to focus on architecture as that interests me the most. Can you recommend a book(s) or website that might help me understand?

Thanks,
Gabe

You said you are not a programmer then how can you be an architect. You should go step by step only.
Still You can refer Head First design pattern

Thanks for the link.

Correct. By trade, I am not a developer. That doesn't stop me from wanting to learn about architecture.
