There's no decent documentation about this technologies, this is something you can improve.
For now I'll stick with
, which is pretty old and limited.
PS: I don't use Seam.

If you're using Java EE 5, to unit
you shouldn't need a container. You're EJB classes are POJOs, so just write
tests against your classes.
I'm guessing you're trying to do integration testing. Sorry, I can't help you there, I haven't messed around with the embedded/embeddable containers.
