Java Workflow Framework

I am new to Java and would like to beginning learning Java web programming. I am highly interested in process automation. Is there any framework typically used in Java that is comparable to .NET's Workflow Foundation framework?

You could take a look at JBoss jBPM, or the Oracle BPM Suite.
