This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
At old JavaRanch all smilies for reply/post had been listed at the same page.
Now, part of them listed on the same page, if you need extra - click "More smilies" list.
In order to insert "thumb up" or "jumping joy" (quite popular to me) smile I have to click extra link.
My request is:
1) Add "thumb up" or "jumping joy" smilies at the new topic page or post reply page, so we don't need to open pop up window.
2) If this is not possible, replace some front page smilies, like :?: and :!: with "thumb up" or "jumping joy", and move :?: and :!: to pop-up page.

Yes, I think it would be nicer to have them available w/o the popup. In fact, we've talked about some improvements in that area, but nobody's gotten around to implementing them. There are also some duplicated icons and some with the same meaning that should be removed from the list.
