Deleting a project from netbeans

How can I delete a project from the list of netbeans. If I choose delete option, then it deletes the netbeans specific files. So right now I change the name of the project folder and then start netbeans so that it is not able to find the project. I know this is a very bad option and there must be a better way to do this :lol:
