What a student should do if he or she attains low percentage in SCJP exams even after passing it. Is their any use of such a certification then? Can anyone re-apply for it?? Post your helpful comments.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

The score is not very important - what is important is that you passed the exam. The score is not printed on the certificate.

But I am not certified with my results. I gave the exam yesterday and attained only 61% marks. Just 2% more than the passing marks. I want to re-apply for the exam. Can i do it? Please help. I did a lot hard work on it. Still....

I don't know if you can take the exam again if you have passed it. You can ask your testing center or ask Sun Training if that's possible. You will most likely have to pay again for a voucher. You'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth investing the time and money again.

As they say ...... A win is still a win, even if the margin is small............cheer up.........
And there's lot more to study!!! Believe me, study harder and spend that money on maybe buying an SCWCD voucher .
Congratulations on passing the exam !!! party dude....

Well,
Thanks buddies for your valuable suggestions. I ready to start preparation for SCWCD. Can you please tell the book.
I have the book in PDF form of Head First Servlets and JSPs. I have also seen SCWCD book on websites a book similar to cover page of SCJP.
Which one to buy?

Where did you get those PDFs? Some books are legitimately for sale in PDF format, but if you find such PDFs offered for free on the Internet then those are illegal copies. Please do not use illegally copied material.

For info about SCWCD, see the SCWCD FAQ and post your questions about SCWCD in the SCWCD forum.
