Hi All,
Just want to say that it was fun.
I had a photo with the mascot Duke.
New to me was JavaFX.
They showed the recent state (and codes) in relation to a lot of technologies like: JSF, Spring, JPA, BPEL, OpenESB, Netbeans, Glassfish, Groovy, Grails, REST, etc.
Frequently mentioned are the new and upcoming features on JEE and its upcoming version 6.
I found the lectures of the following to be effective: Carol McDonald (REST; JSF/Spring/Seam) and Chuk Moon Lee (Groovy and Grails; BPEL, OpenESB, JBI)
I will attend again in the future! =) Just keep the food like that.

Everyone got: Sun office items like ballpen and notebook (not laptop), openSolaris CD, Sun Solaris CD, AMD CD, chinese Sun hong bao (small red chinese envelopes - because it coincides with the chinese new year week - a big week here in Singapore)
To lucky participants, e.g. those who asked questions during the lecture: T-shirts
To a few (around 2 or 3) lucky guys who came early, before 7:30am: top of the line laptops
To another few guys (around 2 or 3) : huge late model hd flat plasma screen tv
I think there was also a few iPhones given away.
But the best was to be away from work; and simply enjoy it.
