Hi Folks, I was wondering what your audio set up is in your homes. I play music through speakers attached to a computer, tv (dvd/vcr player), and a cd/casette player. I was planning to get a home theater system but I am so frustrated with maintaining multiple speakers that I am trying to find a better alternative. Ideally, I am looking for a home theater system without the integrated DvD Player (because I already have a dvd player). So basically it would just be a set of 5 (or 7) speakers with a wireless receiver. It would also have a wireless transmitter that I can connect to wherever my music is - tv, computer, cd player, dvd player or an iPod. I googled for it and I found Sony Wireless speaker system (and several others ) but it is just a basic speaker. It cannot produce home theater like sound. I also found several wireless home theater systems (which have great sound) but they all work only with their own DVD player. Do you have any suggestions?

BTW, the speaker unit doesn't have to be portable. I am ok with installing it in one place (with a power connection instead of batteries).
