Do we have a JStatusBar in java?

HI!, I am designing a Hotel management System Software using A JDesktop and JInternalFrame. I want to add a Status Bar to the desktop and It is a problem. please help.

I've created one myself, using just a simple JPanel combined with some borders:

For the rest you can use any layout you want: BorderLayout, GridLayout, FlowLayout etc. As for the contents, you can just use JLabel there.

Well JLabel exists, hard to say nothing if you dont tell what is the real problem here.

Maybe somebody has made some kind of status bar class for java, i dont know
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
