I search regarding voilence in India! every day i read news paper which has news regarding this in every page. not only india but all parts in world.
As i read in books also & website also about Non violence. And in India many personality was lived & gave lesson from their life, how to be a good human being. example as Siddhartha Gautama, Ashok, Mahatma gandhi. I give only three, but in world many person similar like these.

I think everybody who live in India, but all forgot them. & who not forgot but then also afraid to follow their way.when i tell my friends or my colleges, they tell me
don't think that matter, now we should concentrate on how to become rich so we can buy home, car so we can marry & live with family happily. if violence occurs in any area, avoid that area, if any person who encourage people to be part of violence, forget it & go to office or collage, if any person suffering by violence don't look at them also, because if we relate them then police will not leave us without any problem or they not give us thanks. etc etc

In actually many people live with this thought.
But then also i should not follow my friends but i am trying to change their minds.

As i thought all this, first i look at myself, when in my area violence occurred. I afraid to go out side from my home & stop at least one person! I fail to follow them(the great personalities)!
I know today not happen anything different in my life without violence or nonviolence. I become person who think only self safety, ignoring all other things which related to humanity!
I know before changing other or teaching other something, person should learn that thing properly & follow it properly!

I confuse lot regarding this matter! what should i do? or what should i think? or what should i follow?

If you understand, say "understand". If you don't understand, say "don't understand". But if you understand and say "don't understand". How do I understand that you understand? Understand!

Your friends are giving correct advice.Thats your primary responsibility.
Protecting citizen from criminals, violance is generally the responsibility of police and ultimately Government in most countries. The road on which I go daily to work contains many potholes. Should I take vacation and follow Public Works Department to fill those? There are countless dogs in my area resulting in dog menace.I complained once. NO effect.Should I catch the dogs now without going to work?
Violance has to be there.Otherwise people don't understand meaning of non-violance.

I think just let it be, and do what you can.

Thats why you know their names because they followed it.
They did not care whether world was following them or not.

I know from my personal experience that it requires lot of will power to resist yourself from doing wrong. (It is red light on traffic signal, people around you are still jumping red light, and then you are alone waiting for red light to become green... ahhhhhh.. sometime I feel that why should only I follow the traffic rule in this bloody bangalore traffic..)

But then still I try to follow my heart...

So suggestion is that that dont correct world, dont fight with goon, dont clean road.
But at the same time correct yourself, dont become goon, dont litter on road.

When I was young I heard that Hinduism preached absolute nonviolence. Years later, I heard there was a Warrior caste, and wondered what they were for. Eventually, I figured that maybe absolute nonviolence was only for a few holy men who were near their last reincarnation.

About ten years ago I read Gandhi's autobiography. He described telling his son that there were three possible responses to agressive violence. One response to injustice backed by threats of violence was cowardly submission. The second was forceful self-defense. The third, which he advocated was passive resistance. He told his son that cowardly submission was the most despicable of the three. For example, when accosted on the street by an armed robber you could give him your money (cowardly submission), defend yourself forcefully (e.g. shoot him down with your own gun), or simply refuse to pay (and just wait for the muggers to tire of killing people).

Gandhi's doctrine of passive resistance worked well against the British, but not so well in dealing with certain northern factions. I suspect that the British Labor Party _wanted_ to jettison the empire, but couldn't say so outright lest they be acccused of treason), and welcomed the opportunity to claim that India had now become ungovernable and that there was nothing that Great Britain could do about it. The reason I suspect they wanted the divorce itself from the colonies was their desire to create a Welfare State based on Labor Socialism. They couldn't very well set up even a poverty-level dole if there were hundreds of millions of Indian citizens currently earning far less than that amount. They couldn't very well set up a system of socialized medicine if any medical care they provided had to be delivered to a billion Indians and Africans. (And to discriminate against colonial subjects would eventually invite accusations of racism.)

America seems to have progressed the least of all western countries when it comes to the creation of a Welfare State. Most of America's economic equivalents of colonialism, such as cotton-growing slave plantations were scattered deep throughout the mainland, so the resulting internal culturally third-world populations could not be cut away. America's experiments in Welfare Democracy were cut short due to the inability to determine a level of support that was both high enough to provide a meaningful feeling of security in its population of European origin and yet not so high as to instantly cause huge communities descended from plantation workers to switch to the dole in preference to working. Had the English not allowed India and other colonies to secede, the same would have happened in the British empire. (Similarly, had Great Britain annexed its Carabbean and African colonies, its murder rate today would dwarf America's rate.)
